Welcome,
I am very excited to be a part of the OSS Health family. I look forward to meeting you and offering care for you and your loved ones.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in orthopaedic surgery.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I graduated with Honors in Environmental Sciences / Business Institutions. While at Northwestern, I was a four-time letter winner and scholarship athlete in Varsity Men's Tennis. I was a four-time Academic All Big-10 Award winner. I served as the captain of the team in my senior season.
I received my medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland; where I was in the top 5% of the class and achieved junior membership status to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society in my third year.
I then completed both an internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center / Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. I was awarded Intern of the Year in my first year, Junior Resident of the Year in my second year, and served as Academic Chief Resident in my fifth year.
During my residency, I provided sports medicine coverage to the varsity sports teams at The University of Maryland, as well as high schools throughout Maryland. I trained in limb salvage and orthopaedic trauma / fracture care at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. I received training in pediatric orthopaedics at both Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital in addition to advanced training in limb deformity and limb lengthening at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopaedics at Sinai. I received sub-specialty orthopaedic foot and ankle training at Towson Orthopaedics, The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopaedics, and The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy.
After completing my residency, I returned to the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy to complete a comprehensive one-year Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Fellowship. During this year I received in depth training covering all aspects of foot and ankle reconstruction including, but not limited to:

My primary interests include orthopaedic foot and ankle sports medicine, ankle arthroplasty/joint replacement, and foot reconstruction. I have a unique background in the treatment of arthritis, fractures, limb salvage, deformity, arthroscopy, sports medicine, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Kaci, and my two children. I enjoy the outdoors, running, and am a competitive racquet sport player.
